BIOGRAPHY

Adriana, born in Avellino, begins her dance studies at the age of three and graduates at the experimental choreutics Liceum, at the National Dance Academy in Rome, and at Maurice Bèjart’s Mudra in Brussels, where she creates her first choreographic compositions staged on tour by the school. She has studied and practised tai chi since 1984, initially in Brussels with Master Kuo, and since 1988 with Master John Shadow.

Adriana takes part in the creation of the Belgian group Rosas with Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker dancing in the show Rosas danst Rosas. She also dances in Pierre Droulers’ Miserere and, with him, she is co-author and interpreter of Midi-Minuit and Palindrome.
